Mind,Body and Soul

over the last few months the year 5/6 area have learnt about the Mind,body and soul. We did activities watched clips, on the subject focus .In the mind we learnt the mind is very hard to understand controls everything.Body,I learnt the body is complex and I also learnt nobody can master or understand the body.Soul, in soul I completed tasks such as yoga, meditation,we also did this really fun activity were we played games such as angry birds and scribblenauts and other fun activities.

For the rest of the term i am going to be using my interest of journalism to link in with our topic of mind,body and soul and complete 2 tasks that I have negotiated with a 5/6 teacher.

negotiated task 1:I will make a video of the local paper getting typed,printed,delivered.

negotiated task 2:Make my own newspaper for the school it will include the main stories this term.

To get these tasks completed i need to learn how to type faster

So far i have been working on the video i have had the opportunity to interview someone from the Surf coast times.I have also worked on the articles for my news paper.I have been working on finding articles for my paper i have heaps all ready to type some even ready to print.And my video is all most done.

In one of the sessions I struggled to find and still struggling to find how many papers  are made around the world every day.and getting the interviews for my video.

I wonder how people find stories?how hard it is to get it in before the deadline.i would like to investigate further into media and commentary.

the best part of this was the overall presentation i belive i tried very hard to complete the negotiated task.i also liked interviewing the journalist
I will always remember meeting and interveiwing journalist understanding there job really is hard to beat the deadline.i thought it would be really easy but it is not there is heaps of deadlines and other challanging things.
iam most proud of my presentiation ibelive icould not have done i better.
i got a lot better at using computer and other programs.iwould have liked to have fully completed what was written on the pla aned to inprove on my consentration and my handwritting.istill wonder how you become a journalist and what u study.i was suprised that it is such a hard job.the most inportant thing that i have lreant is typ.ng can be a struggle.i can now use all types of devices.i wish i had have lernt how to use movie maker
